“Art is a celebration of life.”Susan is a former university level linguistics instructor. She considers art a “mid-life crisis” and has attended workshops with Catherine Anderson, Judy Betts, Nita Engle, Cheng Kee-Chee and Stephen Quiller.

Susan has paintings in galleries, public buildings, and homes in several states and locally has painted for the Clyde Drexler Foundation and the Center for Christian Spirituality. The artist is also coordinator of the Bunker Hill Village Art Project and a member of the Watercolor Art Society of Houston. She currently also exhibits at Claxton’s Gallery in Houston.

She finds inspiration from travels across the U. S. and the world and watercolor is her preferred medium. The texture, moods, and drama of nature are her preferred subject matter.
